Two short courses will be offered in Seoul: Basal Reinforced Piled Embankments and a course on Introduction and Mechanisms for Geosynthetic-Stabilized Roads. In addition, the conference offers a full schedule of training lectures and technical sessions, as well as meetings of IGS Technical Committees and technical visits to Korean geosynthetics-related companies and organizations.
In his welcome and invitation letter, 11ICG Conference Chair and IGS Vice President Prof. Chungsik Yoo writes, “A wealth of scientific programs has been prepared that will feature a wide selection of experts from geotechnical and geosynthetics professions.11ICG participants will be able to take advantage of a total of 63 sessions.”
