DEADLINE EXTENSION! The 11th International Conference on Geosynthetics, organized by the International Geosynthetics Society’s Korean Chapter, will be held in Seoul, South Korea 16 – 21 September 2018. The Young IGS Members will host a special session during 11 ICG as part of the technical program. The Call for Papers for that special session has been extended to 31 October 2017.
Abstracts should be no more than 300 words.

Young IGS Members who have already submitted an abstract for the main 11 ICG program are invited to inform the Conference Secretariat of the corresponding abstract number (secretariat@11icg-seoul.org). This will enable a selected finalist for the young members session to be included in the program and to have special consideration time given to when the presentation is scheduled.
YOUNG IGS MEMBERS SESSION NOTES ON PARTICIPATION
Nominees should be IGS members and no older than 35 years old at the time of the event. Corresponding proof of membership and date of birth are required. The candidate should be the first author of the paper and, in the event that the abstract is selected, also the presenter.
Participation in this special session is free for fully-paid registrants of the 11 ICG.
Approximately 10 candidate papers will be selected. These 10 candidates will receive a certificate and be rewarded with a special gift.
The best lecturer will be selected based on the contents of the paper, style of the presentation and delivery. The winner will receive the best paper plaque.
The template to submit your paper to the Young IGS Members Session is the same as one for the main program.
