8/ 4/2000 – GSE announces expansion into nonwoven geotextile manufacturing. Estimated at $17M (USD), this project will extend GSE into new markets as well as provide an in-house source for nonwovens materials. Phase I begins mid-August in Kingstree SC with the construction of a new 156,000 sq. ft. facility, capacity of 16M lbs., completion is expected in the spring of 2001.
