Milfoil has become one of the northern United States’ most invasive lake plants. In Maine, geotextiles are now being installed underwater to smother the unwanted growth. About 20 years ago, BBA’s nonwoven Typar geotextiles were used in a Minnesota pond for a similar plant control project. The water remains clean today.
