Company Continues Growth and Diversification June 29, 2005–CONTECH Construction Products Inc. announced today that it has reached agreement to purchase CON/SPAN(R) Bridge Systems Ltd. of Dayton, Ohio and BridgeTek LLC of Cincinnati, Ohio. The two deals were recently signed and the actual closing of the transaction will occur in mid July. Terms of the transaction were not released.
CON/SPAN(R) is the industry leader in the design, development, promotion and licensor of precast concrete bridge system technologies. BridgeTek is the largest licensee of CON/SPAN(R) technology and is primarily engaged in the business of marketing, selling and fabricating precast concrete bridge systems.
