Superfund at 25

Is it a mid-life crisis already for the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Superfund Program? The program aims to clean the most threatening pollution sites. Today, Superfund turns 25. But things aren’t turning up entirely roses. Brownfields, which are often far less polluted than Superfund sites, are receiving an increasing amount of cleanup and redevelopment funding.
