Erosion in Alaska

The Alaskan village of Newtok is sandwiched between two rivers that are severely eroding their banks. Other villages in Alaska are subjected to similar dangers. The US Army Corp of Engineers estimates that at least three will need to be relocated at a cost of $355 million–unless erosion control solutions can be found.
