The I-99 construction in Pennsylvania has resumed after a period of poor weather. The liner- and cap-dependent dry tomb in which the pyritic acid rock will be buried is being prepared. Some environmentalists are concerned about the amount of rock being sealed–675,000 cubic yards. But modern landfill design is serving as a guide for the project.
