Preserving History

Geotextiles are used often with historically sensitive sites, such as archeological digs. On Seattle’s Pugent Sound, they are using that approach at the historic Cama Beach. The development is on sensitive ground for the native Tulalip tribe. But rather than make the site a dig, park officials are using geotextile to mark disturbed zones, such as utility trenches, for future guidance.
