In the town of Wellesley, Massachusetts, the remediation of a site and conversion to recreation fields has been a hotly debated issue. But the project is now a go after residents voted to approve synthetic turf made with thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). The $4 million project’s next step is to clear the topsoil and place a geotextile separation layer.
