Waste Management Inc. is seeking to renew its Rio Rancho, New Mexico landfill permit for 10 years, after which time the current site would be closed. However, in order to accommodate trash until then and have time to locate a new site, WMI is also asking for approval to significantly increase the vertical height of storage.
