A creosote-contaminated soil berm at a school in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada has been remediated with the placement of a geotextile separation layer and clean soil. The Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) contained the area in 2007 after the forest products-polluted soil was discovered.
