Tencate - King Willhem Prize 201022 April 2010 – Royal Ten Cate (TenCate) has been nominated for the King Willem I Prize (Koning Willem I Prijs) 2010. The nomination of TenCate for the Dutch enterprise award is in the category for companies of more than 250 employees. The other two nominated companies in this category are Stage Entertainment and the VDL Group from the Netherlands.

The King Willem I Prize is awarded once every two years by the Dutch King Willem I Foundation, with active support from the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands. TenCate received the prestigious King Willem I Prize once before, in 1992.

Mr. Loek de Vries, President and CEO of TenCate, said: “The Executive Board and the employees of TenCate are delighted with this nomination. It is a recognition of our entrepreneurship.”

The presentation of the King Willem I Prize will take place on Friday 25 June in the Royal Theatre in The Hague by HRH the Prince of Orange.
