Louisiana officials seek flood-mitigation ideas in Holland

Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., will join state officials in a trip to the Netherlands next month to learn from the Dutch experience of incorporating environmental protection in flood-mitigation efforts. The officials will visit the country’s flood-protection projects, considered the largest and most advanced in the world.
