The Hutt Valley in New Zealand is receiving the area’s first totally modern, lined landfill. The Class A landfill is almost complete and waste will soon be buried there. Located along a waterway, it’s the most advanced cell construction in the region. A second cell phase is planned for four years from now, with additional cell space demand to be evaulated yearly thereafter.
