The seven-mile-long Central Canel in Indianapolis will receive a geosynthetic liner for an eroding portion of it. Veolia Water Indianapolis owns the reservoir, which provides drinking water to 600,000. Additional crushed stone will be installed on the banks to stop erosion. Construction will take place this fall.
