2 December 2009 /CNW Telbec/ – With the expected economic recovery in 2010, do Québec entrepreneurs really believe that the effects of the economic crisis are behind them? What real issues have they faced in the past 12 months? What is their outlook for 2010? The next Confidence Index – Solidarity Fund QFL will shed some light on these questions. It will be announced exclusively by Léger Marketing President Jean-Marc Léger, with comments by the Fund’s Executive Vice-President, Investments, who will also be keynote speaker at Spectre 2010, an event to be held on December 4 at HEC Montréal.
Spectre 2010 will bring together experts who will discuss the major trends on the national and international scene that will have an impact on Québec businesses in 2010. The panel of experts includes, among others, Sami Aoun, Professor, Université de Sherbrooke; Marcel Côté, Founding Partner, Secor; Martin Imbleau, Vice-President, Operations and Major Projects, Gaz Métro; Daniel Denis, Economist and Partner, Secor and Jean-François Lisée, Executive Director, CERIUM.
Noon press conference
During the press conference following the panel, Jean-Marc Léger and Gaétan Morin will comment on the changes in the last five SME Confidence Indices – Solidarity Fund QFL released in the past year. Jacques Côté, Engineer and Chairman of the Board of Groupe Solmax will also be on hand to comment on the challenges his company will be facing in 2010. Located in Varennes, Groupe Solmax manufactures geosynthetics used to improve soil quality in civil engineering projects. Already known in several countries, the company exports its expertise as far as Malaysia.
