This is a quick reminder that the deadline for offering a paper at PVC Formulation 2010 is not far away at 18 September. If your company has new developments or an overview of PVC compounding and you would like to give a 25 minute PowerPoint presentation, please send a short summary to me before 18 September 2009.
The 2nd international conference on PVC Formulation takes place 16-18 March 2010 at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne, Germany. There will be a drinks reception and registration on the first day, followed by a 2-day technical programme. There are more details on the website:

CALL FOR PAPERS
Papers are invited on all topics related to PVC formulation, such as:
- Cost-effective formulation for key applications
- Recipes to give value-added performance and product differentiation
- Additives for PVC: stabilisers, plasticisers, impact modifiers and flame retardants, process aids, UV protection, etc.
- One pack systems
- Mixing and compounding technology
- Quality control, testing, standards and legislation
- Global markets and trends
Speakers will have a 30-minute slot, including 5 minutes for questions, and attend the conference free of charge. If you or a colleague would like to speak at this conference, please send a paper title and short summary to me (sh@amiplastics.com) by 18 September 2009. You can also recommend a topic or potential speaker.
