20 November 2009 – Checkmate Geosynthetics Inc. introduces PosiLok to its family of products. Manufactured in British Columbia, Canada, PosiLok is a Wire Grid Faced System used for the construction of mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls.
PosiLok is unique in that it offers a positive connection between cage systems as well as with the geogrid reinforcement (Checkmate FlexGrid™). This patented design increases the overall strength in both the vertical and horizontal directions of the wall.
With the ability to lock cages together, a more vertical structure can be achieved which in turn increases the amount of usable land at the top of the wall. PosiLok is a cost-effective solution that works to speed up construction time.
