ASTM International Committee D35 on Geosynthetics has announced work item WK35268, “Standard Test Method for Evaluation of Hydraulic Properties of Geosynthetic Clay Liners Permeated with Potentially Incompatible Liquids.” This is a work item revision to existing standard D6766-09. The work item rationale indicates it is “in response to comments related to difficulties in testing non-aqueous phase liquids and liquids high in suspended solids. Also added notes intended to allow testing conditions to more closely mimic field conditions.”
