Sam Bhat, Titan Environmental20 August 2012 – Titan Environmental Containment Ltd (www.titanenviro.ca) is proud to announce the appointment of geosynthetics industry veteran Sam Bhat, M. Eng, as VP Global Business Development and Chief Technology Officer – Geosynthetics. Sam has a specialized interdisciplinary engineering and management background and has served the global geosynthetics market for the past 22 years, having worked with some of the world’s leading geogrid organizations in the UK, USA and Canada.

“Sam’s extensive technical experience with using innovative geosynthetic solutions in the Americas, South Asia, Middle East and Europe for a wide range of base, soil and asphalt reinforcement applications is a welcomed addition to Titan’s team,” says Kelly Sitarz, one of the company’s principals. “He has a strong passion for geosynthetics and has a multifaceted experience pertaining to product/ business development, technology, design aspects, sales and marketing.”

In his new role, Sam will direct the global business development and the technology operation for Titan’s geosynthetics division. His extensive technical and business experience, leadership skills and corporate vision will be very useful to achieve the company’s overall business objectives and further increase Titan’s growing position in the international market.
