A culvert on the bridge on Comox Lake Road in Cumberland, British Columbia was compromised during a flood last week–leaving 60 residents on evacuation alert. But emergency repairs were approved and the work should be completed with 72 hours. Wing walls have been erected and geotextiles and geogrids have been installed to reinforce and stabilize the structure.
