The Sunshine Coast Council in Australia is continuing a number of beach renourishment and erosion control projects using geotextiles, such as for groyne construction and artificial reefs. Projects at Noose, Maroochy River, Mooloolaba Beach Spit, and Golden Beach are all in the works.
