The University of Washington and CH2M Hill-developed Greenroads evaluation system has been released in version 1.0. The mix of voluntary and required credits for road construction categories, such as “Construction Activities” and “Materials and Resources,” provides a certification-ready system for promoting road building that exceeds common practice in areas of sustainability.
