The Northern Ireland town of Coleraine has cleared the way for a 42-acre residential development that reportedly will include one of the largest retaining walls in Europe. The geogrid-reinforced structure will be used with the former quarry zone to provide a stable platform for construction. The site will also feature a 20-meter-deep lake.
