Joanna FetherolfDenver, Colo. – The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) Region One is pleased to announce Joanna Fetherolf has joined the staff as Assistant to the Director and Sponsor Development.

Before coming to IECA, Fetherolf worked in the Sales & Catering department at the Embassy Suites Loveland, which is currently ranked #2 Embassy Suites in the world. She also spent two years on the Marketing & Events team at Associated Luxury Hotels in Washington, DC.

“Joanna comes to IECA with a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University with a concentration in hospitality and tourism management, minor in marketing,” said Russ Adsit, FASLA, IECA’s Executive Director. “She has spent the past six years working in the hospitality business, planning meeting details for business and corporate meetings. She has strong communication and organization skills that fit with her job tasks with IECA. Creative and thorough, we welcome her as a great addition to the IECA team.”

Fetherolf is the new point person for IECA Region One sales and will be working closely with the member community to enhance the value of their investment in IECA. Along with her husband Justin, Joanna embraces an active lifestyle that includes skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, camping and backpacking.
