Mickey Markey Park in New Orleans will reopen shortly, following lead contamination fears. Materials Management Group conducted a remediation of the park. The mitigation procedure included placing geotextile fabric over the existing soil in areas which exceeded current soil standards, and then covering these areas with six inches of low lead clean soil.
