Water Resources Dwindling for Some Countries

Lack of fresh water is a concern for countries with growing populations and poor water infrastructure, such as India, Egypt and Ethiopia. Water withdrawals over the next 15 years ill increase by 50% in developing countries and 18% in developed countries, according to the Global Environment Outlook. More than 1 billion people worldwide do not have access to fresh water.
