Snow may come any time to the Siskiyou Mountains. Crews working on the remediation of Blue Ledge Mine are hurrying to install high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liner and other controls before the winter weather weather arrives. The former copper mine is being remediated by a $13.6 million plan to prevent polluted runoff from leaching into the area’s watershed.
