Specialty films can inhibit the growth of weeds and pests and promote plant growth, even improving color of crops. But the increasing use of pesticides has caused early failure of films. Also, the effects of photoselective films on pollination by bees are being examined. These are just some of the subjects to be discussed at Agricultural Films 2010 in Barcelona, Spain, 22-24 November 2010. An early-bird registration rate is available through October 15.
