The Hydromulch product line is designed to promote vegetation growth while saving time and money. The special natural reinforcing fibers of reclaimed cotton plant material are combined with straw and a blend of proprietary additives which help these products to blanket and contour to the surface easily. Each of the products meets or exceeds current industry standards.
“The 100% biodegradable fiber formulation has a low carbon to nitrogen ratio, to help support the roots and plants during growth,” says Diane Hitt, East Coast’s general manager. The GroundControl products are sustainable products, made with rapidly renewable materials that can contribute toward LEEDTM certification. In order to further its effort to promote sustainability, East Coast Erosion Control has committed to donating over 1,000 new trees which will be planted through American Forests, Inc.
