Landslides Threaten 50,000 in Chittagong

In Chittagong, Bangladesh, it’s estimated that 50,000 residents are under threat of landslides. Development and hillside stripping has gone on largely unchecked and has de-stabilized large sections of the hills ahead of the rainy season. Reinforcement and rebuilding of some of these hills will be needed.
