The Layfield Group of Companies is pleased to announce its newly formed business unit Engineered Membranes & Films (EMF). This new business unit is part of a major capital expansion project at Layfield which includes a new state of the art wide width geomembrane extrusion line. The new line will provide an additional 23 million pounds (10.5 million kilograms) of geomembrane capacity in various widths and thicknesses. The new EMF business will specialize in the manufacture and distribution of Layfield’s proven high-performance flexible geomembrane brands including Enviro Liner®, Hazgard®, VaporFlex® and GeoFlex®.
This will be further supported by Layfield geomembrane fabrication plants and construction services located in San Diego, Seattle, Edmonton and Toronto. Layfield manufactured geomembranes will also be available from a select group of approved geomembrane companies strategically located throughout North America and internationally. Layfield geomembranes include our specialized “fortified technology” providing our customers with enhanced engineered performance properties for their environmental containment applications.
