NAGS - North American Geosynthetics Society
The North American Geosynthetics Society’s new website features a responsive design for optimized performance on mobile platforms, tablets, laptop computers, etc.

25 March 2013 – The North American Geosynthetics Society (NAGS) is proud to announce the launch of its new website: www.igs-na.org. Featuring new graphics and navigation, cleaner display, and deeper content, the site provides a more detailed view of the Society’s activities and impact its members have on the field of geotechnical engineering.
Importantly, the site utilizes a responsive design, which means it automatically adjusts its display and functionality to the unique requirements of differing smartphones, tablets, laptop computers, browsers, and operating software. No matter where and how you access the site, you retain full functionality and access to content.
“It’s a notable upgrade to our online presence,” says L. David Suits, Executive Director of NAGS. “The gallery page, for example, really shows how dynamic and important geotechnical works with geosynthetics are.”
“Our members are involved in all major sectors of civil engineering,” adds Dean Sandri, P.E., President of NAGS. “They are licensed engineers, regulators, installers, contractors, and researchers. They develop standards. They create products and designs that improve the sustainability and extend the service lives of infrastructure. Their work is essential, and this new site really helps highlight their achievements.”
The new NAGS website also includes secure access to online membership, both for renewals and new members. NAGS is the North American Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS). Membership in NAGS includes IGS membership; discounted registration fees for many seminars, conferences, short courses, and other NAGS or IGS-sponsored events; and free electronic access to important journals such as Geotextiles & Geomembranes and Geosynthetics International.
