Environmental Protection in Shale Oil and Gas

Shale Oil and Gas - Fabricated Geomembrane InstituteThe Fabricated Geomembrane Institute (FGI) has announced a short course on “Environmental Protection in Shale Oil and Gas Development.” To be held 12 September 2013 in Corsicana, Texas, the event will describe the estimated 40 trillion cubic feet of retrievable natural gas and oil in the Barnett and Eagle Ford Shale, techniques to ensure environmental protection during the development, best development practices, and construction materials and techniques to facilitate shale oil and gas development.
Up to 7 PDHs will be available.

COST

The Fabricated Geomembrane Institute continues to offer significant discounts on its professional development opportunities. Government employees who register before 22 August 2013 may attend the session for free ($49 for post-August 22 registration); while industry professionals may register for just $49 if registering before the early-bird date of 22 August 2013 ($99 thereafter).
