Geosynthetics 2015 will be held 15 – 18 February 2015 in Portland, Oregon. Today (April 15) is the final day to submit abstracts to the conference’s technical sessions. Ian Peggs of I-CORP INTERNATIONAL reminds readers that there are two exceptional opportunities to contribute to sessions at the conference:
- “Critical Applications of Geosynthetics” (high walls, critical containment, space, extreme temperatures, etc.)
- “Novel Test Methods Replacing Old Methods” (Geomembrane SCR by uniaxial tensile test, OIT by autoclave, geoelectric surveys to replace water balance testing, SIM testing, etc)
