Infomine has announced that the abstracts submission window for Heap Leach Solutions 2014 (www.heapleachsolutions.com) has been extended to May 12. Heap Leach Solutions will be held 10 – 13 November 2014 at the JW Marriott in Lima, Peru.
The first Heap Leach Solutions conference took place in September 2013 in Vancouver and was well attended by 277 delegates from 17 countries. Geosynthetica’s Elizabeth Peggs was in attendance and found the attendees to be very high quality, with most of those she encountered being engineers with strong understanding of or extremely welcoming of geosynthetics in the process.
Geosynthetics were prominently included in the presentations too, and Geosynthetica’s readers are encouraged to consider Heap Leach Solutions both as an event to attend and one to contribute to.
From the event invitation:
Heap leaching is a complex process that requires the integration of many aspects to establish an economically viable and technically sound project, both during operation and closure. Many other conferences focus on specific scientific and engineering aspects of heap leaching or have heap leaching as a subtopic. This conference brings it all together so that a wide range of professionals can share their expertise and experience in the development, operation and closure of heap leach projects.
Prospective authors are requested to submit 300 – 500 word abstract by May 12. Email heapleach@infomine.com.
