Melbourne, Australia will host the 7th International Congress on Environmental Geotechnics in November 2014.

The 7th International Congress on Environmental Geotechnics (7 ICEG) is coming together quickly. To be held 10 – 14 November 2014 in Melbourne, Australia, the event will bring together geotechnical experts from around the world—including many from the geosynthetics field—for high-level workshops, practical case study sessions, short courses, networking, technology transfer, and much more.
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
The Australia – New Zealand region has provided a strong voice in geotechnical discussions in recent years, with notable work in mining, oil and gas, water resource conservation, research, materials development, etc.
7 ICEG is being led by the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), TC 215 on Environmental Geotechnics. The program is coming into focus.

7ICEG KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

The speaker list announced in October 2013 remains the same—Craig Benson,Paul Brown, Stephan Jefferis, Kerry Rowe, Charles Shackleford, Mike Summersgill—but Mr. Shaun Davidge has been added.
Davidge is Manager, Water Strategies for the Santos Ltd’s Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) Project.
