Global Waste Management Symposium, GWMS 2014The biennial Global Waste Management Symposium will be held 22 – 24 June 2014 in Orlando Florida. GWMS 2014, organized by Penton, offers a strong international perspective on waste management best practices, research, construction, and new technologies. More than 100 presentations will be delivered over the three day event, covering topics such as capping and closure, waste cell design, and stormwater management.
The organizers have now published the extended abstracts as part of a “sneak peek” of the experts and detailed subjects that will be explored and shared with attendees.

ABOUT GWMS 2014

GWMS 2014The GWMS is held in a setting which encourages discussion. The Symposium includes oral presentations and posters, as well as networking events to provide opportunities for technical interaction and discussion in a setting where all participants can engage and share ideas. The core of this event is the submission of extended abstracts reviewed by a program committee. Accepted abstracts will be published in a proceedings provided to GWMS participants.
A broad coalition of government agencies, waste services companies, consultants, vendors/suppliers, researchers, and leading trade organizations and scientific foundations are invited to participate and benefit from the Global Waste Management Symposium.
The GWMS offers many opportunities for sharing of ideas and problem solving with colleagues and GWMS sponsors, through receptions, networking functions, breaks, and the GWMS golf outing.
