GSE Environmental Names Mark Leigh President of Americas

GSE Environmental has announced the addition of Mark Leigh as the company’s President of the Americas, as of August 24. Leigh brings more than three decades of experience, including 10+ years in P&L leadership in manufacturing.
In a release, the company writes, “This completes a strategic reorganization and realignment of each global region that began last year with the appointments of Paul Firrell as President of Europe, Middle East, & Africa and Peter McCourt as President of Asia-Pacific.”
Leigh will be responsible for financial and operational performance across the Americas.
Previously, he served as Senior Vice President for the Americas for Orion Engineered Carbons S.A., the third-largest producer of carbon black globally.
GSE is one of the largest geosynthetics manufacturers in the world, with manufacturing facilities in the United States, China, Chile, Germany, Thailand, and Egypt.
