Managerial Changes for Melissa Grace and Chris Eichelberger Agru America GCLsAgru America, Inc. has announced two important managerial moves in support of its growing geosynthetics business. Melissa Grace, who has been with the company since 2012, has been named Business Unit Manager for Agru’s Fiber and Textiles Business Unit. Chris Eichelberger, a 15-year veteran of the industry, will expand his role as VP-Technical Marketing to include oversight of the company’s complete geosynthetics product line.
The product portfolio now includes the innovative ClosureTurf® composite solution, which utilizes Agru geomembrane and synthetic turf.  The product has been used for landfill closures, rememdiation, recreational facilities, and other containment installations.
As Business Unit Manager, Grace will be responsible for developing new business and interfacing between the geosynthetics sales staff and the Agru America’s production plant and QC lab in Andrews, South Carolina. She will also lead product development and provide technical support to customers and other Agru personnel.
Eichelberger is a fairly new addition to Agru but a well-known, long-time contributor to the geosynthetics field. His background includes installation, constructability reviews, project management, material specification, and field CQA. In his expanded VP role, he will develop, present and implement client solutions in collaboration with the company’s Technical Geosynthetics Team.
