XV PCSMGE 2015 XV PCSMGEWe are only a few weeks away from the 15th Pan-American Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (XV PCSMGE), which will be held 15 – 18 November 2015 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Organizers have launched the downloadable app Soil Mechanics 2015 to share conference information and facilitate networking.
The Soil Mechanics 2015 app can be downloaded here or through various app stores (e.g., iTunes, Google Play).
There is no shortage of information to track and learn from. XV PCSMGE is being co-located with the 8th South American Conference on Rock Mechanics (CSMR), the 6th International Symposium of Deformation Characteristics of Soils (IC- BA2015 ) and the XXII Argentinian Congress of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (CAMSIG XXII).
Among eight pre-conference short courses https://www.geosynthetica.net/xv-pcsmge-short-courses/, which further enhance the depth of the multi-conference gathering, a geosynthetics in soil reinforcement course is being offered. That course will be led by Prof. Bob Holtz—co-author of the long-used text An Introduction to Geotechnical Engineering—and supported by two well-known voices in geosynthetics: International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) Immediate Past President Dr. Jorge Zornberg and Prof. Ennio Palmeira.

REGISTRATION DISCOUNT DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 4

Register for XV PCSMGE online by November 4 to save on registration. After November 4, the on-site registration rate will be applied.
