Brawler Geomembranes, Blown FilmBrawler Industries continues growing. The company has invested significantly in its geomembrane capabilities and capacity in the past year. This week, it announced the addition of a 7-layer blown film line. The move expands what Brawler can offer for agriculatural, construction, and environmental barrier systems.
CEO John Keating noted that the line’s addition, as with the company’s other upgrades, has allowed it to “expand [our] presence into these other important markets and build on our longstanding position in the energy sector.”
The company has provided containment solutions since 1978 and has a deep record in oil and gas applications. It now operates for production plants, with one in Montana and three in Texas.
The Midland and Houston plants in Texas have received most of the $10 million line investments. The result has been the addition of multi-layer blown film geomembranes, high-speed film and scrim lamination, and multi-sealing capabilities to complement Brawler’s existing polyethylene extrusion capacity.
The year-long expansion is expected to be fully complete, with all lines operational, by February.
