GSE GeomembranesMark Harris and Steve Eckhart, both of whom are veterans of GSE Environmental, will take on new roles with the company. The company announced these key position organizational changes in a July 12 release.
Effective immediately, Mark Harris has been promoted to Vice President of Sales, Americas. He has nearly 30 years of sales and marketing experience, including 23 years with GSE. Most recently, he led GSE Environmental’s sales groups in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. He also has extensive experience in the mining sector and in Latin America markets.
In North America, the company notes, Harris will direct pricing and strengthen the company’s position with customers.
Steve Eckhart will apply his global sales and marketing background to a new role as vice president of marketing. He has worked with GSE Environmental for 25 years and will continue to be responsible for the customer service team and marketing. In addition, his new role will include leading the fabrication department, managing geomembrane and GCL product lines, and developing teams and projects oriented to developing new markets.
