The Fabricated Geomembrane Institute (FGI) has organized a one-day short course on Geosynthetics in Civil Engineering Applications. The event will take place 27 October 2017 in Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio Union on the campus of The Ohio State University. The course will cover proper design, specification, and construction of a variety of civil engineering applications such as water resources, containment, dams, roadways, landfills, coal combustion residuals, and more. A focus will be placed on providing strategies and information that can be utilized by the attendees immediately.
