Corrugated pipe maker Advanced Drainage System Inc. this quarter has picked up two companies in North Carolina in an effort to become a one-stop shop for contractors. The Hilliard company and one of Central Ohio largest privately held businesses said it has acquired Pineville-based Piedmont Concrete. Last month, the company closed a deal to buy Foltz Concrete Pipe Co. of Winston-Salem.
