Over the past few years, Agru America has extended its product lines, with new introductions and enhancements to established brands. Now, the company has moved into its next phase of growth, supported by new geosynthetics manufacturing capacity, with a focus on geomembranes.
Capacity has been added to Agru’s Georgetown, South Carolina and Fernley, Nevada production centers, which now enables significant coverage and response through the United States.

Johnson, President of Agru America, in a statement. “The expanded production capability of our quality geosynthetics will allow us to keep pace with the ever-expanding demand and technological advances in plastic extrusion for years to come.”
ADDITIONAL GEOSYNTHETICS MANUFACTURING
Agru is a global leader in flat die extrusion geomembranes. It also produces geonets, geocomposites, and geotextiles.
Other pieces of its product portfolio include geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs), vertical barrier systems, and large diameter piping systems. These materials and systems are distributed internationally.
Key brands for the company include Agru Smooth Liner® / MicroSpike® (structured textured products), Super Gripnet®, and Drain Liner® in both LLDPE and HDPE.
The company also produces the unique ClosureTurf® system, which is a geosynthetic barrier system with a synthetic turf surface layer for use in impoundments, landfill capping, and other containment and cover applications. The system is designed in partnership with Watershed Geosynthetics.
