17 June 2010 – Albarrie Canada Limited is proud to announce the launch of our new joint venture with Terrafix Geosynthetics Inc. These two well known companies are joining forces to create Terrafix Albarrie Geosynthetics (TAG) Environmental Inc. TAG Environmental will manufacture a full line of premium quality, Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCL), as well as other specialty products in Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
Albarrie is the successor to its founding parents in North America and Europe with a history tracing back to the 17th century. Albarrie Canada Limited has been manufacturing engineered fabrics in Barrie since 1972 and has been responsible for the management and manufacturing of GCL products for their previous partners, National Seal, Serrot and GSE since 1991.
Terrafix Geosynthetics Inc. has been providing a full line of advanced geosynthetic products & services since 1973. Terrafix markets GCL’s under the trade names of Bentofix and Terraclay.
