ASTM Committee D35

ASTM D35ASTM International Committee D35 on Geosynthetics is reaching a major milestone. During the January Committee Week gathering in Houston, Texas, the Committee will mark its 30th anniversary with a celebratory dinner. Committee D35’s standardization efforts have greatly helped develop the awareness, acceptance and use of geosynthetics.  ASTM Committee Week will take place 29-31 January 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Houston.
The 30th anniversary dinner will be held on Thursday, 30 January 2014 at Vincent’s Restaurant from 6:00 – 9:00 pm (approximately 1.7 miles west of the event hotel). During the dinner, the Committee will acknowledge the significant achievements of D35, including a focus on members who have contributed greatly to the development of high-quality standards for the field of geosynthetics.
The cost of this event is $60.00 per person. Sponsorship is also being solicited to defray the cost.

  • Gold Sponsor – $500
  • Silver Sponsor – $250
  • Bronze Sponsor – $100
  • Copper Sponsor – $50

“Sponsors will be recognized on a sponsor board, as well as in the program book. Although we will accept donations anytime, if you send your sponsorship amount by 15 December 2013, we will be able to recognize your group in subsequent publicity and documents.  If requested, an invoice can be supplied prior to your sponsorship commitment. ABOUT COMMITTEE D35
ASTM Committee D35 on Geosynthetics was formed in 1984. D35 meets twice each year, in January and June, with up to 100 members participating in 45 meetings over three days. The Committee, with a membership of approximately 330 members, currently has jurisdiction of over 155 approved standards that are published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 4.13.
