The Mercer Lecture Series honors Dr. Brian Mercer, the inventor of the modern reinforcement geogrid. GRS Bridge Abutments Gaining Attention

In St. Lawrence County, New York, five bridges have been constructed in the past year with geosynthetic reinforced soil (GRS) bridge abutments. Now, the federal government is sending a film crew to the area to document the next GRS construction.
